Thomas Stafford

Fourth in the series is Thomas Stafford, Commander of Apollo 10. I’m doing these portraits in order of their Apollo missions and in Commander then CMP them LMP order within missions. From all of which you can deduce that the three crew members of Apollo 9 (Commander James McDivitt, CMP David Scott and LMP Russel Schweickart) won’t be included in this collection.

Thomas’ second colour is soft peach. There’s not been a mind blowing individual portrait yet but, with four portraits finished out of twelve, the collection is looking really good. The two colour posterised look befits the period of time from which the theme of this collection originates and the posterised look and the (so far) common theme of the space suit collars hold everything together.
