Real Men Wax

Not much artwork this week but I did spend yesterday applying wax to some unframeable paintings. I got the idea from a Liz Chaderton video earlier in the week. She uses something called Dorland’s wax medium, just spreading it thinly over watercolours with her hands, leaving it a day to dry and then shining it up with a cloth. I thought I’d give it a go on the eleven works you see here, even though some of them have already been sorted with some sort of fixative.

The results are in the photo. Everything looks fine.
