Liz Chaderton

Time for another marker portrait of a YouTuber and today it’s professional artist and author Liz Chaderton. Her YouTube channel can be found here and her website here. And, of course, she’s written loads of books on watercolour, specifically on:

I went for rose pink as Liz’s second colour. I wasn’t happy with the shape of Liz’s face, so added more black on her right side to narrow it. The mouth isn’t perfect, even after I added a lower lip highlight in white gel pen. The likeness is still a little off but I’m happy I’ve caught Liz’s character, which is far more important. And from a distance Liz looks fine. I’m even predicting that she’ll work well in the collection.
