Martini

Fourth up is Martini (I can’t find his first name) played by Danny DeVito. This film is just packed with names. I’ve done Martini in purple just because one of these portraits needs to be in purple no because three of the remaining four earmarked for brown, grey and black. The other one could be coral, pink or sky blue: I’m not sure yet.

The likeness here is probably the worst so far. I’ve not even caught the character with his naive happy demeanour. But, and I keep saying this, this is a collection, not eight individual works. And the series is looking good. The monotone approach means that each individual portrait is looking a bit incomplete to me. There’s something missing. And if others get that impression too, then that’s great. It’s working..
