Costa Coffee, Medway Services, 19 February, 2020

Off to a different Costa Coffee this time – one overlooking the M2.  Rather than lots of little vignettes I thought I’d try some bigger pictures today.  I ended up with these two.  Not brilliant, and probably would have looked a lot worse without the grey background shading.

I went back to going over the outlines with black marker and I think it works better in these bigger pictures.  In fact, I should have done the original drawings in black marker as I’m starting to find that the black rollerball ink tends to get smudged and muddy up the marker ink, especially when I’m adding the flesh tones.
