Costa Coffee, Hempstead Valley, 12 February 2020

I spent a bit of time in Costa this morning practicing furtively drawing people at speed.  I concentrated on getting lines down and added the colours afterwards.  I like the woman in the bottom right and the head of the big bald guy with glasses.  And friends seem to like the guy resting his head on his hands.  These drawing as are always going to be a mix of successes and fails.

Just in case anybody’s wondering whether I’ve given up on watercolour, I haven’t.  It’s just too cold to go outside and I’m a bit too messy to paint indoors.
