Chief Bromden

I don’t normally do this but I’ve done a third marker painting in a day. This is The Chief, played by Will Sampson. He seemed the character most suited to the brown marker.

And for the first time in this collection I’ve absolutely nailed the likeness. Not only that but the character too, a quiet dignity screaming out of the page at the viewer. There’s nothing like an inappropriate metaphor. Just three to go now and they might all happen tomorrow. We’ll see.
